Week of August 18 to 24, 2025
Dear friends, we are delighted to announce our training module on Yin Yoga - Anatomy & Functional Approach.
We share with you new tools to apply, such as the 10 myofascial compartments targeting the legs and torso, and the 14 skeletal segments to define areas of tension and compression.
This will enable you to engage in the 7 archetypal poses and their variations, which will meet the needs of all practitioners.
This immersive week will delve into the anatomy of yoga practice by mapping the body and cataloguing the human anatomy into compartments and then into targeted zones. The result is a methodology created by Paul and Suzee Grilley, founders of the Yin Yoga approach, called 14 / 10 / 7.
Initially, this method will enable practitioners to develop a refined sense of interoception, enabling them to define and link each sensation in terms of tension and compression to targeted zones. This understanding enables us to adapt each posture to our own morphology, and to teach the practice while taking into account the subjectivity of each practitioner.
We will provide you with a manual to accompany our teaching.
We'll share these concepts with you using visuals, presentations and superb slideshows, giving visual support to this functional approach.
As we learn this functional approach, we share with you the story and qualities of this inner practice. Beyond the anatomical and mechanical understanding of the body, this methodology/pedagogy, known as the functional approach, frees us completely from the dogma of the ideal pose. This approach gives power back to the practitioner by organizing and emphasizing the importance of interoception (perception of the body's internal state).
We would be delighted to have you with us.

Far from ordinary!
Training with Sebastian and Murielle is not just training. It was an extraordinary experience that far exceeded my expectations. This was my 4th yoga teacher training and certainly the best. Not only because I love Yin Yoga, but also for the quality and methodology they shared. They gave us a wide variety of tools to use for our own teachings and the theoretical parts were very clear, which I really appreciated. There was precise guidance throughout the course; in terms of timetables, lessons, practice, which allowed us to optimise every second of our time during the course. What makes this training so special is Sebastian and Murielle, who are two extraordinary people who embody spiritual yoga and live what they teach. What you practice will always express itself. It's a law of the universe!
Don't hesitate if you'd like to take this course, you won't be disappointed.
