A series of practices derived from Yin Yoga.
We're delighted to be back at Yogart studio Rouen, this time offering a series of practices based on the Yin Yoga approach as a platform for exploration.
In this series of workshops, we present a variety of postural yoga practices based on the qualities inherent in Yin Yoga: such as slowness, introspection, surrender and relaxation, will unfold in the different weekend practices, ranging from movement to balance, from slowness to stillness.

IMMERSION PROGRAM
FRIDAY APRIL 04 - 17.30 - 19.30
Practice - Yin Yoga for the Spine
This 2-hour class focuses on the spine, exploring the 6 movements associated with it through the Yin Yoga poses repertoire. Stimulation of the thoracic and lumbar fascia, combined with rebounding (integration), will enable the practitioner to open up, release the tensions inherent in the intervertebral discs, and regain a full, unconstrained range of movement.
SATURDAY, APRIL 05
Yin Yoga Archetypes & Variations - 9.00 - 12.00
This 3-hour practice will guide you through the fundamental principle of Yin Yoga, which is adaptation.
The practice of Yin Yoga uses only 7 archetypes to access each part of the body through passive traction, allowing all the different myofascial chains of the body to be stretched and relaxed.
Because of anatomical variations, this approach takes into account the subjectivity of each practitioner, so that each archetype offers a multitude of variations.
This cultivates the attitude of exploration needed to discover the ideal posture linked to each archetype, bringing us back to introspection and somatic listening.
Lunch break - 12-14.00
Accompanied Yin Yoga - 14.00 - 17.00
A practice for applying the principles of Yin Yoga with a partner through a series of poses.
It allows the recipient to abandon themselves completely to the floor, isolating the various muscle groups and myofascial chains while receiving stimulation from a partner.
We'll guide you through an informative and relaxing pair practice to learn how to apply the benefits of Yin Yoga with a partner.
This course is open to beginners and experienced practitioners alike.
SUNDAY APRIL 06
The Tao of Yoga - 9.00 - 12.00
This long and intensive practice is a harmonious blend of Qi-Gong and Yin Yoga.
We'll manipulate the course's energy curve by combining Taoist movements such as joint warm-up, standing posture, breathing techniques, grounding and dynamic sequences: "The Squat Sequence" and "Heaven on Earth"to strengthen and challenge our lower limbs while opening up the spine and upper body.
At the halfway point, we'll switch to the practice of Yin Yoga, moving from the most demanding poses to the most relaxing, ending with a Taoist meditation on the lower dantian (lower abdomen) to regain a state of calm and stillness.
Lunch break - 12-14.00
Yin Yoga & Meditation - 14.00 - 17.00
This last class deals with the most introspective aspect of Yin Yoga practice.
Once again, the practice of Yin Yoga will be adopted as a platform to develop a space for observation and relaxation, through the fusion of Asanas (poses), Pranayama (breathing techniques) and Dharana (concentration).
The demanding nature of this breath-based practice takes us to the heart of calm, allowing the practitioner toreconnect with his or her inner nature as an observer.
